Spotify desktop app is stuck in offline mode

when I open the app on Desktop [Windows 11] it is stuck in offline mode
I've tried all the suggestions and it keeps happening.

1) offline mode setting is disabled [I've tried to enable it and diable to it refresh but nothing happens
2) I've close the entire app via task manager and reopened it but that doesn't refresh
3) I've reset my laptop and no change
4) I've deleted all Spotify and its cache and redownloaded it
5) my firewall isn't blocking it as I made it an exception

my internet is working and Spotify works on my phone/tv etc and i can connect my phone to my laptop via spotify and play music through that, one a song is playing on my laptop i can pause and skip with no problems.

Thanks for posting on the Community & kudos for the troubleshooting you've tried!

Could you double-check if you notice any difference after resetting app data? You can do so by clicking the 3 dots in the top-left corner > Help > Troubleshooting > Reset App Data and Restart. 

It's worth changing the current hardware acceleration setting as well, should the issue persist. Head over to Settings and scroll down to Compatibility to change it.

If the app still appears to be in offline mode, however, could you try connecting to a different network, to see if it behaves in the same way? For example, if you're currently using WiFi, you can try connecting temporarily to mobile data.

reset app data and restart doesn't work

changing hardware acceleration doesn't work [turned it on, reset no change, turned it back on and reset still no change]

but when i connected it to a different network [my mobile data] it instantly connected and when I went back to change to my household wifi it went back to the offline screen then refreshed and working like normal

I don't know if this will fix it in the long run
