Spotify keeps "forgetting" local tracks.

Both podcasts in form of mp3's from iTunes as well as mp3's made in Audacity exported as LAME mp3's.

I use Win 10 LTSB ( 10.0.14393 Build 14393 ) and Spotify version 1.0.55.487.g256699aa. This doesn't happen if I use an old version of Spotify. In fact, Spotify knows where the file is, and it was able to play it just fine just minutes ago, but all of a sudden it just says "This song is not available. If you have it on your computer you can import it.", but that's clearly not the problem here. Does Spotify keep forgetting the file path despite when I click on "Show containing folder"it sends me to the right place? What on earth is going on?
