Spotify song list on the PC fails to update when new favourite songs are added via the Spotify Web P

When I fave a song on the Spotify Web Player it doesn't update my favorite songs list of Spotify on PC.

Have you tried doing a re-installation of the Spotify app?

I have tried and NO reinstalling the windows 10 app doesn't work. Even if I click on one of the spotify recommended playlists the queue still shows up as a playlist I played a week ago...that's how long I've been having this problem. I'm about to cancel my subscription because this is bs and there is NO SUPPORT from SPOTIFY 😞

I will add, I'm having the same problem with the spotify android app. Now playing and queue are stuck on what I played several days ago. Have tried clearing cache and uninstalling the app.
