Spotify won't play after Google update

Player shows up, it indicates it is playing. No sound comes forth

1. Does it persist across all platforms or just a single one? Which are the affected platforms? (Windows desktop app; web player; Android etc.)
2. What type of a Google update are you referring to?
3. Have you tried restarting your device(s) to see if that makes a difference?

I'm pretty sure
I've restarted, but will check again in a bit..
Prob is with Win10. Android is fine... haven't checked Web player

If you're having issues with the desktop app, we'd suggest performing a clean reinstall of it by following these specific steps. 

If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind checking if the issue persists while using a different internet connection? 

Lastly, could you check if the web player is working as expected?
