Unable to play tracks through browser

Unable to play tracks through browser

For the past couple of weeks (going back to maybe the end of October), https://open.spotify.com on Chrome is not working on my Windows PC. I'm able to login and access my library but when i try and play any tracks i get an error saying "Spotify can't play this right now".
It then cycles through about 5 tracks very quickly before playing a random track off my list. But it only plays any track it eventually sticks with for 9 seconds then the sound cuts out, the track continues to play but the sound stops.

When accessing 'Developer Tools' to see whats happening it's coming up with

It doesn't matter who i attempt to play.  It seems to be related to trying to play through the browser site itself.  I also access Spotify from the dedicated Windows software on another PC and that continues to work as expected.  This issue (as stated) only started in the past couple of weeks.  It was fine before then, has something changed on the browser Spotify site to stop it working?

I am experiencing the same issue! It began around the same timeline as well. If I change wifi newtorks (to my iphone hotspot), it will play for a few seconds and then the issue persists. Let me know if you find any solutions! I can no longer listen to music while at work.

There is another thread about this issue too. It is a major problem with browser playback on an iPhone with Mobile Safari too.

I put a detailed bug report here:

Your report of the audio license error response is helpful, I was guessing it is related to that too.
