Volume of adverts really loud

The adverts are much louder than the actual music and so when I have ear phones in and the adverts come on I get the shock of my life. How do I reduce their volume?

There is one workaround on how to keep volume of songs and ads at the same level for desktop client and the web player:

Turn the in-app volume to the maximum.

If you're using the desktop client, you'll have to toggle the system's volume.
If you're using the web player, you can toggle the browser's volume from the volume mixer as well as toggle the entire system's volume.

Some advertisers seems to use up the opportunity of making their ads louder than music. So, to keep them at bay, you'll have to set Spotify's own volume to the max. The ads can't be louder than the max volume... 😉

It's kind of strange tho, I've never had terribly loud ads through the web player.
