Hey there @chris259

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.

Just to confirm, is this only happening on the web player or on the desktop app as well?

On another note, could you give a different internet connection a go to see if the issue persists?

Lastly, we'd like to know if this happens on a work or a personal computer.

We'll be waiting for your reply.

Hi,

I am not using the app, only the web player.
I am in a work environment with a very high speed internet connection shared bu multiple colleagues for diverse activities, it would be very quickly noticed it there was an issue with the connection and it hasn't been the case.
This is a work & personal laptop, that I have been using for a very long time with Spotify web player without any issues.

Thx

Hey @chris259,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the shared info.

As your laptop is being used in a work environment, it could have some restrictions added by the network administrator that may affect the proper behavior of the Web Player, even with a high-speed connection. In this case, we'd first recommend clearing the browser's cache and trying in an incognito/private window to see if it makes any difference.

Also, would you mind checking if you have any pending updates for your browser by following these steps?

If the issue persists, could you try with a different Wi-Fi connection as suggested by @Eni? In case you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile-data hotspot to test it.

We'll be on the lookout.
