Hi there @BobGohd,

Thanks for the post.

Currently we don't have official info when the Spotify DJ will be available in the Desktop and web apps. The feature is still in testing, so keep you app up to date in case it gets released in one of the upcoming updates.

Cheers.

Agreed, must have my DJ on my desktop.  I know I can launch from phone and then transfer to PC, but should be able to just launch my DJ from my desktop.

I too want the DJ to work on Windows, or at least I did until I actually tried it. I just bought Premium today and made a playlist with ~400 songs and "liked" them all, because I heard the DJ uses AI and bases its recommendations on *all* your songs together, not just on specific songs individually. But I *hate* most of the recommendations it makes and dislike the rest, except for the ones that I've already liked and have in my playlist. It's worse than regular recommendations. Most/a lot of my DJ recommendation were contemporary popular cr*p that all sounds the same, while my playlist/likes are mostly old and unique songs.

I think, based on things the DJ has said, that the problem is that it's basing its recommendations on things I've listened to recently rather than on my likes or playlist(s), and I don't use Spotify to listen to songs I already know I like, I use it only when clicking on random links people post to Spotify songs, in order to try to discover new music, so there's no correlation between what I've listened to recently and what I actually like. It would be nice if the DJ came with options to base its feed on either songs you've recently listened to, or songs you've liked, or a particular playlist, or all your playlists, etc.

One other thing, I think the DJ's talking style and word choice are annoying. it's like it's trying to cater to the masses but it just ends up being obnoxious. Maybe that's just because I'm GenX, though.
