Why can I not select the spotify version I want to use?

My Question or Issue

I cannot log in using older version for windows ever since Spotify decided to log me out of every.

Have tried reinstalling the older version and wiping all the spotify data on my PC and no luck.

I also find it abhorrent that when you uninstall spotify it leaves data on your PC.I think a complaint to attorney general is in need.

It hides data in appdata/Local/spotify but the install file is appdata/roaming/spotify

Stop blocking people from using whatever version of spotify they want. We pay for it. The new UI sucks and has forever. It blocks people trying to find new music and makes it miserable.
