Why won't my Spotify web player page load? It's been weeks.

Why won't my Spotify web player page load? It's been weeks.

Whenever I open my Spotify tab, it shows "Something went wrong" or just a loading screen. My internet is stable and my other tabs/apps don't have the same conflict. I have refreshed, re-downloaded, and logged out and logged back in several times. My Spotify on my IOS app seems to be working perfectly fine, it's just my web player that won't load. I can only play music if I click the play button for a playlist in my library, I can't search/do anything else besides that.

In this type of case, we’d first recommend checking on an incognito window to see if it makes any difference. If it works properly, the behavior could be related to your browser’s cache, so we’d suggest clearing it

 

If the issue persists, would you mind confirming if the affected device is a computer from work or if you have any active VPN on that Computer? We ask this since some companies may add some limitations on their machines or networks that may affect the proper behavior of the Web Player.

 

Lastly and if possible, could you check with a different network connection to see if the page loads properly? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.
