My Question or Issue

My window is completely transparent and I can't interact with anything, I can still play songs by hitting the play button under the window in the taskbar but that's about it I can't interact with anything else and the window is totally clear. I can see the outline for where stuff is supposed to be happening but nothing it there. Also on a side note when opening spotify up it will try to reinstall itself out nowhere. It never actually installs and I don't know why it does this.

Hey dmoney, I'd recommend a complete reinstall of spotify to the newest version, I believe they've recently changed the framework that it is built on or something similar.

I used to get a transparent window for half a second when it was on the old framework, now I don't, can only guess that your problem is an amplified version of the one I used to have until the update.

Best of luck, Lachlan

nah man I already reinstalled a few times, this issue has been going on for a while

Hi!

Have you made sure that all previous versions of Spotify were fully uninstalled before you tried to reinstall your new version?

yea I uninstalled it through the programs tab on windows 7 then deleted the spotify folder in roaming and then in program files x86. then when I reinstalled it worked but said it needed to update so when I restarted it it then continued to be totally transparent
