how to keep my libary opened when side bar opens or how to disable side bar?

Every time I swap an artists the track side bar opens and closes the library view. This happens on my laptop with small screen. How can I keep my library open even when the side bar opens, or how can I disable the side bar?

Thanks for the post.

You can click the little playing button on the bottom of the Now Playing View to show/ hide the artist info window. 

You can also try enlarging the Your Library window by clicking on "Your Library". It should always stay open when you do this. 

Note that if your screen is very small, you can zoom out the UI of the desktop app by pressing Ctrl+-/ Ctrl++ (PC) and Cmnd +- Cmnd++ (Mac).
