im having the same issue did you ever get it fixed?
Hey folks,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
The new desktop login pulls-up the browser to fill your credentials and complete the process. If the browser is not popping-up, we'd recommend clearing cache or reinstalling your browser to make sure you're running the latest update. Also, make sure that Google Chrome is set as the default browser in your PC settings.
Laso, make sure you don't have any pop-up blocker that might be affecting the proper behavior of the process.
If the issue persists, it could be also related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This process will clear the damaged cache and ensure you're running the latest version of the app.
Lastly, if the issue persists, as it could be account-related and we don't have access to users' accounts in the Community, we'd recommend contacting our Customer support directly so they can check the account and help you further.
Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.
I like how the solution is to install Google Chrome and set it is as the default browser.
How about you just fix the login issue and stop farting around with what browsers your users have?
It's been a year. Has anyone identified a solution that does NOT involve changing a default application setting on a desktop?
make sure you have set your default browser in windows settings (settings - default apps - default browser) doesnt have to be chrome, i used opera gx and worked fine.
I read the thread and decided to write the message here, that I am going to do some research of streaming services that has NORMAL applications and not fking electron baked sh-t, that requires installed & defaulted google chrome.
Outstanding level of support. Will be a pleasure to pay for custom services that will be able to migrate my music library over.
