Unusual Instrumentation

Unusual Instrumentation

After a lifetime of wishing I could make music, in 2020 I bit the bullet and did something about it. I bought a used synthesizer, enrolled in a course in music theory, and set up a home recording studio. I'm having a blast and now my music is on Spotify.

One of the things I love doing is creating pieces that combine instruments you wouldn't normally hear together. I'm a big fan of marimba music. If you've ever heard a marimba band live you know how powerful the experience is. The ground VIBRATES. The marimba is such a powerful instrument in a live setting that nothing that's not amplified can compete with it.

But since I'm making music electronically I can combine any instruments I want and make them work. So, in my latest release I combine a marimba with a piano and flute, and I love the way it sounds!

Love to have you check it out and tell me what you think!

Ah- you're the guy who I keep trying to say hello to on Facebook, because we have similar band names, but you always ignore me. Nice to have you horn in on my promotional post.

I have no clue what type of music marimba is but the intro to your track is pretty cool @XPerryMental

Is this your first track? Well done ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the compliment, and no, it's not my first track.
