Smart TV Application (Vizio)

For premium members create the spotify app for all of the smart TV's and allow us to listen to music and preferably watch music videos wirelessly through our TVs! There is currently a tunein radio app, and a Pandora app available for my TV. A spotify application would be amazing!

The app is out now, but it is terrible. The Spotifiy app on Vizio is aweful. The UI is clunky and a lot of the functionality is lacking when compared to the Android or PC. Is this something Spotify will be addressing? If so, when?

Hey folks, we're marking this as Implemented since Spotify is available on VIZIO’s new 2014 E-Series and M-Series Smart TVs with VIZIO Internet Apps Plus and can be found under the “Featured” or “All Apps” tab. Click here to see the availability of Spotify by VIZIO device.

Spotify is available on VIZIO Smart TVs in the US.

It looks like this suggestion has been around for a few years with no action taken. This is personally a high priority for me. The Smart TV apps (Vizio, Roku, etc.) should mirror the smartphone app as closely as possible in style and function.

Or give users the ability to control the TV app from out smartphones.

On Spotify's website it says the TV app works for free and premium users, but the actual app says it requires a premium subscription. When will this be working for free users?

App is buggy - really buggy. I used to see my playlists, now, they don't appear at all. New UltraHD 55" tv. Maybe Pandora/Rdio would be the better fit?

Spotify app is gone. Vizio lied to us. All of us that bought Vizio TVs because it had the Spotify app were stupid. It will not longer be supported, or work, after 8-14-17.  BAD COMPANY.
