Dear Spotify Team

I would like to propose the idea of a monthly wrap, me and my good friend Sophie were thinking that this would be a good idea, and would draw more attention and popularity to this app. You already have lots of listeners and people who engage with spotify, but this would make it even better. 

A monthly spotify wrap would allow listeners to see their top artists and songs every month of the year, and compare from each month to observe how much their listening habits have changed, we think listeners would like seeing their music tastes fluctuate through the year, and how many artists they listened to, new ones and older ones. We think this would be a good social aspect as well, as a monthly wrap would let listeners compare with their friends.

We think the monthly wrap should include the amount of minutes you listened, the artists you frequently listened to, your top artists and the percentage of listeners you are in. We think it should include your top genre of music and your top 5 songs throughout that month, and how many times you listened to each song, and a comparison to the previous month on top songs and artists.

Regarding the yearly spotify wrapped listeners know and love, the December wrapped should be a simple overview of the entire year, compiling all of the monthly wrapped to give you the same facts, your top listener would be the artist you consistently listened to the whole year. We think this would make a yearly wrap easier, as you could get facts from each monthly wrap to get the information required.

We truly hope you consider this idea, as we firmly believe it would increase our enjoyment of the app, and others as well, we think overall, this would be a great idea to invest some time in, and make spotify even better than it is today.

We're happy to announce that a new feature named Your Sound Capsule, which helps users keep up with what they're listening to each month of the year, is now available for Android and iOS. There's more info here. 

Keep in mind that this feature will be initially available only in Brazil, India and Indonesia.
