Advanced controls for shuffle

Setting for 'advanced' controls to 'shuffle' so that (for instance) you can request that a song on a playlist played within a certain period (day, week, month) should not be selected again or ensuring no consecutive songs (next to each other) are from same artist or album. I have read and upvoted related ideas ('true' shuffle, random versus shuffle, change ratios for language or feature in song). Recognizing that true 'random' may not be possible, one workaround that meet some of what people desire would be to offer advanced controls (with the 'advanced controls' a toggle on/off so that those not interested will not be confronted with 'too many choices'. Controls could permit greater or lesser spread across genre or artist (i.e. making sure no two songs next to each other are from the same artist), preventing play of a song that was recently played (e.g. past five days, month). Especially an issue for those of us enjoying long playlists.
