Aesthetic video options that go with the theme of the music playing

Just like the aesthetic videos on YouTube, Spotify has the potential to elevate its playlists by incorporating videos to enhance the listening experience. With your recent expansion into long-form podcasts, this could be a perfect opportunity to further develop the video aspect of the platform. Starting with select playlists and eventually offering “scene selections” could allow users to enjoy visual content that complements the music beautifully.

Currently, I’m not subscribed to YouTube Premium because I prefer to avoid paying for yet another streaming service. This leads to a decrease in my engagement with Spotify, as I would love a single platform that combines all my music with engaging videos. I often project videos onto my TV, making this concept particularly appealing. Here are a couple of examples from YouTube that resonate with me: a cozy coffee setup with snow falling outside while oldies play softly in the background, or an adorable animation of animals or a city accompanied by Lofi music, reminiscent of Lofi Girl’s style.
