Alternative album covers

Artists often release alternative covers for their albuns but we can only use the main cover or sometimes when they release a deluxe version we are abble to use a different art cover.

My idea would be as the photo below show us, be able to choose alternative covers from an album. and of course according to the cover you choosed the songs will have the alternative covers too not only the album page.

If Spotify team  release this feature even on a mega premium subscription I would pay to have, or even being abble to pay for each alternative cover to be use I would pay too.

I think with this  feature we music lovers would have an amazing experience in Spotify  20250323_103316.jpg

Letting users upload album covers is a disaster waiting to happen. Who's going to moderate that? Spotify sure as **bleep** won't.

@brunofarias I assume user-uploaded images would only be available for the user who uploaded them, not for everyone else.

@brunofarias users would not upload anything, the artists that would make available the alternative covers to be use  simple as that

This idea is so good! It is common that artists have alternative album covers, some of which users prefer other covers to the original cover. This is a cool idea.

I would love to put custom images for songs from a deluxe version of an album that uses the same cover.

YES! For example ive been trying to find the alternative song cover for "TImeless" by the weekend but they took it off and replaced it with the album cover.

Apple Music has had this for years, so it’s definitely something i’m looking forward to seeing on Spotify in the near future
