Apple Watch Double Tap

Hi Spotify

One of the reasons I started using you, was because of the Spotify Apple Watch integrated app.

With WatchOS 10.1, Double Tap has been introduced. I can listen to Spotify and open the Apple Watch "Playing now" app, and use the Double Tap feature to skip songs. However if I open your app on my watch, the Double Tap feature doesn't work natively.

I'm guessing the fix would be easy for you to introduce. Please integrate the Double Tap feature in your Apple Watch Spotify app!

Apple Watch now supports double tapping your fingers together to control apps on the watch. Other music playing apps allow you to play and pause music using this feature and it would be great if it worked for listening to Spotify as well!

Hi Spotify-team,

Are you planning to include the new Apple Watch double tap feature to Spotify to be able to pause oder skip a song by tapping the pointer and thumb fingers?

The Apple music app is already able to do this and I love it.

The new double tap gesture is not working with the new Apple Watches. I’d like to see Spotify update the app so I can start pausing my music and maybe skipping a song without touching the screen.
