This is a fantastic idea! I’d love more granular control over my podcast listening, considering I use Spotify as my one-stop-shop for all audio content.

Yes PLEASE I really need this. Sometimes I try out a new podcast and listen for like, one minute, before realizing the podcast sucks and I hate it. And then Spotify puts the terrible podcast that I hate on my home screen for five billion years because I listened to one minute.

I saw a podcast recommended at the top of my home page that I couldn’t remove or block. This unnamed individual is inflammatory to say the least. He should never be touted as a sensible podcaster.

I would love this feature, Spotify keeps auto playing Joe Rogan when I’ve never chosen to listen to that and have no intention to. It’s fine to recommend something I might like but I would like the option to opt out of listening to something that isn’t my cup of tea.

Forget "hide" command. I want a Kill Switch that I can target as much or little of recommendations as I choose, whether en masse or micro detailed. I LOATHE being push-fed the common drivel swilled by numb-minded sensory infants.

I listened to one adult podcast months ago.  I listen to AND SUBSCRIBE TO tons of political podcasts.  The other day I was driving with the wall of death and heavy traffic and my podcast finished and instead of going to a podcast I subscribe to, what did it play?  An episode of that adult podcast that I DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO.  What if I my kids had been in the car?  There is no way to delete this from my history, and now the algorithm thinks I listened to it again.

Today I log in and guess what is in my “popular with listeners of” tab?  Yup, not any of the dozen or so podcasts I listen to frequently and actually subscribe to… the adult podcast I listened to ONCE and now am stuck with it all over my feed.  Absolutely infuriating.  I had to turn off sharing because now it’s plastered all over my homepage.
