Make Smart Shuffle it's own button

It would be nice to be able to enable/disable smart shuffle separately than regular shuffle. I don't ever use smart shuffle and it's annoying to have to click through that especially if I have poor connection as it tries to load and then remove the recommendations so I have to wait for that even though I have the playlist downloaded to my device to avoid waiting.

Especially a problem on android auto, most times it shows on the car interface that I turned smart shuffle off but does not remove recommendations and still has smart shuffle enabled if the passenger checks on the phone.

Especially in the car I want to be able to turn things on and off quickly and not have to keep looking back to check. Please make it a separate option.

Smart shuffle is really annoying. It's "here have some new music" like "in your face". I experience the same problem, especially on Android Auto. It's annoying as heck to click through the button, having that disabled and suddenly hearing songs I never have put into my mixtape anyway. Especially in my car I want to listen to music that I have chosen, not Spotify. I am not keen on having new music suggested while I am driving or even when I am on the way by feet. That also takes a hit on data volume, which is limited for some users.

If I want to discover new songs, I go to my mix of the week (which mostly contains stuff I don't like tho) or to the home tab and try to find new stuff there. 

An alternative to that is a setting to disable it generally in the user/app settings.

"Smart" Shuffle is not related to shuffle in any way, other than containing the word "shuffle". 

The two functions are completely different and are not related. For Spotify to take the irrevocable decision to make "Smart" Shuffle (playfully called Sh1te Shuffle in my house) the default, primary action when pressing the shuffle button is nothing short of utter lunacy. 

Do the right thing and separate these two functions out again. They are not linked. They are not the same. One is not synonymous with the other. Stop forcing users to use features that don't get used because they're terrible, to try to validate sloppy plans to shareholders or board members who want to know what you've wasted billions on.

Please god remove smart shuffle from my shuffle button. I keep accidentally turning it on and I never want it on.

either a separate button or an account setting to globally enable/disable it, this is the first change that made me want to switch. I'm trying youtube music for a free trial to see if I can just switch and be done with smart shuffle.

Please create a separate button or account setting for Smart Shuffle. Having to cycle through just to get to regular shuffle is extremely annoying and hits data, which can be a problem in certain locations or for some users.

Please, please, PLEASE give users an option to disable smart shuffle. It's obnoxious and intrusive and for some mad reason it's the default shuffle option?!

Add smart shuffle to desktop. After reading some similar posts, I suggest a different smart shuffle icon. Maybe the shuffle button with a 'S' in the middle and a different color.
