Option to turn off election/campaign ads [or other categories]

I know I’m not the only one out there who thinks election / campaign ads are “bad” [and I think that’s putting it mildly 🙂 ]. So my idea is to be able to turn off the category of election / campaign ads.

To broaden the idea, maybe even having the option of tailoring the different ad categories that a listener does/doesn’t want to hear.

Now I get it, I can’t turn off every category, that wouldn’t work. So maybe it’s set up so that the listener can choose to turn off up to “x” number of categories. Which in my case would mean election / campaign ads.

I completely agree! Election and campaign ads can be overwhelming, and having the option to turn off that specific category would be a breath of fresh air. Allowing listeners to tailor their ad experience by selecting which categories to mute would enhance user satisfaction significantly. It’s all about giving us more control over what we want to hear.
