[Sonos][Partnership] Spotify and Sonos Voice Control (native)

Hello,

Sonos released their own virtual assistant called Sonos Voice Control.  The service is integrated with Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Sonos Radio, but not Spotify.  Spotify is my families preferred platform, but I need this integration to work for some specific uses in my house.  Please work with Sonos to connect Spotify to their assistant.

I see this idea was posted on March 14, 2023. I don't see any commitment from Spotify on releasing this feature.

I just added a Sonos E100 to my Sonos system with the explicit purpose to voice control my music and Spotify has been my main music service for over a year now. Except I can't use with Spotify. And I don't care to go through one of the other Alexa/Apple voice assistant routes. I expect it to work with Sonos natively as many of Spotify's streaming competitors do.

I am canceling Spotify and will move my monthly music subscription dollars to one of the other supported services. Vote with your wallet, as they say. I will check back in six months and see if this has been implemented, and if so, you can possibly earn a lost subscriber back.

Honestly, I don't know who is the exact addressee of this problem, but it is obvious that there should be a mutual integration. I guess, like other friends, I found it right to use Spotify and communicate the problem through this platform. Spotify not working  & unavailable with Sonos seems to be more of a financial and governance issue rather than a technical problem. The fact that it has not been resolved since the date of the first post supports this. This may be considered a very low-level event for Spotify's reputation and the same goes for Sonos. I bought brand new Sonos yesterday, but I'm still experimenting. It doesn't really matter, I can cancel my Spotify subscription and switch to other providers compatible with supported services. Our goal on this platform is that at least an authorized person from Spotify will inform everyone about the latest situation.

Sonos is used so much with music lovers all around. To think Spotify has created a whole standalone smart screen unit for cars to independently run Spotify on you would think they would work with a company as great and known as Sonos to integrate voice control.  

y’all don’t realize it but people are changing their music service from Spotify to other apps such as Apple Music which honestly seems like the better and smarter move at this point.

Please make it possible to play and control Spotify with Sonos Voice Assistant. I would prefer Google Assistant to my Era 100 but I understand that Google plays a part here too. So for now, please make Sonos Voice able to control Spotify.

I was so excited to learn about Sonos Voice Control, but as a Spotify user I am disappointed. It will be great once Spotify is connected.
