Transcripts for audiobooks

I have noticed that transcripts are common in podcasts. But I haven’t seen them on audiobooks. This means I have to keep rewinding to catch things that I missed, due to how my mind works. (When there is a transcript in something I'm listening to, I can just pause and read what I just heard.) This is particularly glaring because many of the audiobooks I listen to are precisely about disability and neurodivergence, i.e. these audiobooks are by/for/about people who would really benefit from transcripts.

Whilst I don't know what it would take to get agreements from publishers for transcripts as well as audio, I would expect that, in theory, transcripts should be quite easy to produce... easier than for podcasts, because, after all, audio books are audio versions of what was already text.

Having transcripts would make a much more pleasant and useful listening experience. Not having them causes frustration and means that I (and people like me) feel like I'm wasting half of my 15 hours on rewinding.
