Don't Add Tracks To My Personal Playlists

Please, please, please...don't assume I want something if I didn't add it myself.

In the midst of a playlist I created, a song played that I'd never heard before & immediately knew I would NEVER play. I scrolled through the playlist to make sure it wasn't there alphabetically, and it wasn't. But, a song where that artist is a collaborator with a few others is on my playlist.  The one your algorithm summarily chose was horrible.

Please, please don't assume anything about me. Just leave my playlists as they are.

Next to the Play button, you can see the Shuffle button. This button also gives you the possibility to add or not add Spotify recommendations to your playlist.

I usually shuffle, but I did not notice that the Shuffle button on playlists has two settings - Smart Shuffle or not.  Much appreciated, I'll make sure my contacts or glasses are on to make sure I choose the correct setting from now on! 😅
