Fake Artists on Spotify

Marcia Ratke is not a real band.  Nothing exists on the internet about them.  There is no information on the album they have, no label they are on, and info on Spotify is sketchy as well.  However they do have some good tunes and they were pushed by Spotify to appear on similar sounding bands radio album options.  I heard them on the band called Sasquatch's radio option.  Sasquatch plays rockabilly, country, blues, outlaw country, punk.  Spotify put Marcia Ratke on there so you click to that band as well.  Very devious.  But whoever Marcia Ratke is they are pretty good.  Just a shame we aren't allowed to know who they really are.

I suspect that the band is AI generated, I just watched a video on YouTube about Spotify creating fake artist pages. It's taking away listens from real human artists.

Yeah sounds to me like theye are AI. It's honestly scary how AI is making music and stuff. Like how people make songs that sound like they are byou a certain artist snd say it's a leaked song when actually it's just AI.
