How to Create Spotify Playlists from FL Studio Exports

Hi, I’ve recently started creating music tracks using FL Studio Mobile and exported a few songs that I’m proud of. Now, I want to add them to my personal Spotify playlist to share with friends.

Does anyone know the best way to organize and upload custom music tracks to Spotify playlists? Also, I’d love to hear your feedback on how to make FL Studio exports sound better for streaming.

That’s awesome! To add your FL Studio Mobile tracks to a personal Spotify playlist, you have two main options:

1. For Personal Use (Without Public Upload)

  • Convert your exported track to MP3 or FLAC.
  • Open Spotify (desktop app only) → Click "Local Files" in Settings → Add your music folder.
  • Your tracks will appear under "Local Files" → Create a playlist and add them.
  • Sync to mobile by enabling Local Files on your phone.

2. For Public Sharing on Spotify

  • You’ll need to release your tracks officially via a distributor (e.g., DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby).
  • Upload your music, set metadata (artist name, album art, genre), and wait for approval.
  • Once live, you can add your songs to playlists and share links with friends.

Making FL Studio Exports Sound Better for Streaming

  • Use 320kbps MP3 or WAV (24-bit, 44.1kHz) for better quality.
  • Master your track (adjust EQ, compression, and limiting). FL Studio Mobile has basic mastering tools, but using external plugins or software like Ozone can help.
  • Check loudness: Aim for -14 LUFS for Spotify to prevent volume drops.
