I was talking about this one! @matthewshaw955
oasis yes please. mad for it
It's the Foo Fighters for me. Name me a more influential rock band in the past 20 years. Go ahead, I'll wait.
They have a mix of hard licks and sweet soft songs. Not to mention Dave Grohl is one of the best drummers ever with Nirvana, but he's hilarious and probably the nicest guy in rock.
Listen to all these songs and you just might fall in love.
l like them too, almost everyword you put it´s true but, but, but.....there´s other bands with a lot of influence (in this time span of 20 years) for example Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorrillaz 228 and a lot of other proyects) The Strokes 443 (Julian Casablancas suport to other bands with Cult Records) , Arcade Fire 422, Jack White (The White Stripes 318) Alex Turner (Artic Monkeys 192 and The Last Shadow Puppets)....
@Jpgchief
Oh I agree that there's plenty of other influences, but Dave and his music, also with Nirvana, inspired and influenced some of those bands you named. And I'm sure hes the hero to some guys right now beating songs out in there bedroom. With all the work hes done, (Scream, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Tenacious D, to name a few) I just think his foot print is in a lot of places. Hes also toured with bands to help them rise, example: Royal Blood. In the rock scene, I just can't think of a guy who could beat his history or character. (He also broke his F'ing leg at the beginning of a concert and finished it. Hes a total bada$$)
@bradg43
