Skipping issue when trying to close but now playing screen using the VoiceOver screen reader from Ap

I’m blind. I use my iPhone with VoiceOver, which is Apple‘s built-in screen reader. Let’s say I shuffle my liked songs. I bring up the currently playing menu page, and if I try to swipe left to go up near the top, to try and close the now playing window, it skips a bunch of songs and goes back or fourth. This also happens in audible books or podcast episodes. I clicked on episode seven of my favourite podcast, but when I tried to close the currently playing window, it skipped to episode three. I cannot listen to anything.

Hi @MonicaMND,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

I recommend trying to close the Now Playing View by swiping down instead of by swiping left, to see if it works properly that way.

Also, since the VoiceOver gesture to return to the previous screen is to draw a letter Z on the screen with 2 fingers, I suggest using this gesture to see if the app goes back to the previous screen without skipping tracks.

Let me know how this goes, as well as if you have any other questions.

Have a good day!
