Hello Spotify Community,
So I've always wanted to kind of get involved on to this community and share music on Spotify, which is literally one of my favorite past times.
I was supposed to try and post once a month per drop, but I guess I got busy or forgot or whatever, but were here now! Better late than never =P
So, I have been curating playlists on Spotify for the past 7 or 8 years and feel it's time to share my playlists with more than just my friends, but a much wider audience and in hopes this might get me a chance to share more music not only in this community, but who knows maybe catch the attention of the Personalization team.
All my playlists are always new music generally no older than 3 or 4 years but good music never dies, am I right!
I only use the Daily Mix to Discover Weekly features to curate my playlists and that's how I always keep the sounds fresh and new.
I know right now everyone is enjoying their annual top songs, but this year I did a thing where I would drop a playlist every month all summer called TheEliad SoundPack.
Each SoundPack is carefully curated to flow whether playing in order or on shuffle as the sounds are quiet similar and yet still vastly different and unique songs that most in my opinion can last the test of time.
Please listen to my previous releases:
MAY 2024: An Afrobeats/AfroHouse sound-pack
An Afrobeats/AfroHouse sound-pack
JUNE 2024: A funk/hip hop sound-pack
A funk/hip hop sound-pack
JULY 2024: The Trap/R&B / Hip Hop sound -pack.
A Trap/R&B / Hip Hop sound-pack
AUGUST 2024: EDM/House & New Funk SoundPack
An EDM/House & New Funk sound-pack
Because of that my Spotify annual playlist as most have always noticed is a blend of different genres in one playlist, so since we ALL listen to different genre's of music on one playlist.
Has anyone ever done it successfully?
I mean each genre is so unique and different from the rest how could one possible join different genres together in one playlist and enjoy it on shuffle if the songs are so vastly different, it will in most cases interrupt ones daily music flow.
However I did notice a unique similarity to a lot of the music I have loved to listen to lately that are more on the uplifting side and they include a lot of bass and the genres are gearing towards more alternative in almost every genre...
SO I decided to make one more playlist for the year.
A genreless playlist to complete my playlist series for the year.
It is called TheEliad SoundPack: AlterEgo
TheEliad SoundPack: AlterEgo
The Alternative “genreless” sound-pack.
Includes Alternative Hip Hop, Alternative R&B, Neo Soul, Neo Disco, Jersey Club, Electronic Dance Music. Side-effects may include the following; good mood, smiles, heart fulfilling music, let the vibes take you away.
If you got this far in the message thank you for reading all this and hope you have a great rest of the holidays and a happy new year!
