Add to playlist

Solved!

Add to playlist

I can't add songs to any playlists. I press the "add to playlist" but nothing happens. What to do? I have tried the log-out-log-in thing. Doesn't work.

Hmm this sound strange, there are couple of things you can try to troubleshoot this

  • Turn the filter on, and then back off
  • Restart your phone
  • Log out from Spotify and then log back in
  • Reinstall Spotify, as this usually helps for many ongoing issues like this
  • Check for any updates of the app, if you've turned them off

Hope the things will run smoothly after this : )

Is your add to playlist greyed out or not? Have you tried adding it to a different playlist?

Hello @siljeelisa, thanks for posting!

Are you using Spotify on Android phone?

If so, I got an information recently, that phones with activated "Blue Light Filter" experiencing troubles with Spotify. Try to disable it, and see if it works : )

No, it's not greyed out. I can't try any other playlists as it won't even come up after i press add to playlist. As I said, I press the "add to playlist" but nothing happens. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Hi! Yeah, I have samsung s7. I have never heard of blue light filter before. I googled it now - isn't that an app I have to download? If not, how do I disable it?

Hey back

No, you don't have to download anything, just search for the option "Blue light filter" or "Night mode filter" under your Display settings page on your phone and turn it off, if its on.
