Hey @RadBe, @drake5000 and @GenScottMitchel,
Thanks for joining us here at the Community!
We want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.
The good news is: We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon, so please check back!
Let us know if you have further questions.
Have a nice day.
Hi @Guido,
Thank you for response and explanation.
As this is far from response I would like to hear, I understand the limitations and complexity of deals with rights holders. But as the making business is based mostly on pure calculation, the same rule apply to customer considering their actions.
I hope that Spotify understand that there are plenty of other music platforms, which are able to sustain albums that are important for their customers.
Music is not like video streaming business when you simply can swap one position by dozen of another ones, as video is mostly watched once.
Most of us love their bands, albums and songs. I want to listen to those every time when I want to. Simply your explanation doesn't hold since I will not switch to other music type nor album regardles of how good they would be. I want to listen to this specific one as it is my favorite one and I expect that I would be able to do so next morning because I paid for that! (or at least was hoping that I was paying for exacly that).
With all respect to you as a representative of Spotify. From my perspective I rather will vote by wallet and simply find an alternative platform. I'm feeling bad.
You took my favorite album Spotify, just like a candy from a kid 🙂
The day I found that Deus Ex is blocked will be remembered deeply in my heart.
It's gone for me too both Human Revolution and Mankind Divided sountracks...Cannot be played and are greyed out...I guessing some licensing issue or something in that direction...
Germany
Its not the first time I had this, I had the same trouble with Enders Game soundtrack list. It returned after a few months to spotify...but I dont know how to contact support any other way...
Same here. Deus Ex soundtracks are gone both for Spotify and Apple Music on my side. That’s a bummer, I’ve just compiled my cyberpunk reading playlist 😞

This standardized copy-pasted responses from Spotify crew are a little frustrating. I also noticed that the excellent soundtracks from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 1 & 2 are also taken down. What is happening with videogame music?!
I understand the licensing issue but what a premium experience 😞
Yes,
@Guido didn't make any effort.
Here is some more informations about the reason.
Thanks a lot for the Reddit thread, RadBe!!
