Hi kaaona, welcome to the Community! It's fantastic to hear that you're an artist and want to put your music on Spotify. The figure you have is on the Spotify Artists website, which I would say is your best source for Spotify information for artists. If you're a mathematician (or know someone who is), take a look at: http://www.spotifyartists.com/spotify-explained/#royalties-in-detail - it should break down how Spotify pay artists. Take a look at the rest of the page for more handy information too.
Now you're a part of the Community, take a look around. Once you put your music on Spotify (if you want to open up your music to a kind, loving and awesome community of music lovers), make a post about it in The Green Room, I'd be sure to take a listen. 🙂 You can also suggest ideas for Spotify and talk to other users about non-music related things in the off-topic forum. There's so much to do.
Thanks for your interest in publishing your music on Spotify, and I hope to hear about your latest release soon!

It all depends on how much Spotify makes, how many times your tunes are played, and what cut your publishers take. Spotify doesn't exactly pay per listen, it's determined at the end of each month versus platform-wide statistics. I hope I could help. The site is really useful when it comes to these things, so I'd advise taking a read. Good luck 🙂
