Audio cannot be started after Windows 10 Mobile update

Hi, I received an OTA update for my Windows 10 Mobile (10.0.14393.189) however it broke Spotify.

I can no longer play music as you can see in the attached screenshot.

I already tried re-installing the application, re-starting the phone but the issue persists.

Spotify's website does not make it easy to raise support requests even if you are on Premium.

Thanks for coming to the Community for help.

 

Could you try doing a soft reset of the phone? Just hold down volume and power button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the phone resets. Don't worry, you won't lose any data.

 

Let us know if this does the trick.

Hi,

 

I have the same issue with my Lumia 950XL, even on the lastest Insider Build i installed few hours ago, and a soft reset doesn't do the trick. I tried everything I could think of to make it work, but still no success.

 

 same  error here.

 but after a reboot all works fine.

 

 it's a little bit annoying when you get to the car, want to play music and then the screen says: Couldn't start audio and you have to reboot the phone before you drive away.
