Cant see friends activity?

My Question or Issue

I tried reinstalling, logging out and logging back in, but everytime i login to spotify it doesnt show me my friends activity anymore and its just telling me to enable a setting, which i obviously already enabled

I am experiencing the same issue, everything used to work fine but since 1 or 2 months I can only see 5 or 6 friends out of 30+ and none are updated (I used to see most of my friends and most of them were regularly updated) I have tried to log on and off, reinstall the app, change the settings but nothing works (and everything is supposedly up to date on my PC).

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

There were recent changes made to every user's settings, in which the default setting to share listening activity has been globally set to OFF, and this may be the reason other users have disappeared from your Friend Feed. In this case, you can let your friends know of this change and ask them to turn it on in their settings if they want to share their listening activity.

In case you're sure that your friends turned that option on, please provide us with the info we're asking for in this Status update so we can further look into it.
