Hi folks this is driving me crazy ..... content preview will not show up over my Spotify app on my 2021 Samsung QLED Smart tv when I hover on the Spotify Tile added to home page. Tried everything and its only that app it happens too. All other apps content preview work and replicates above app tiles. Spotify and Samsung could not help me. I am stuck. Tried factory reset router reset firmware all updates. Reset and reinstalled app too many times to count. Cleared cache. Any help would be really appreciated 🙏
Nobody even responded ... is this an isolated incident 🤔

Before starting with any troubleshooting, we'd like to have more information about this.
Did you previously have the song preview feature on Spotify? Or has it never worked?
Also, did you notice any change after a certain event such as an update?
We'll be on the lookout.
The Spotify app plays music and works fine via the Samsung tv other than the content preview never working. On the tv the content preview never populates above the app icon when u hover over it.
SAMSUNG SUPPORT WAS USELESS AND TOLD ME TO CONTACT SPOTIFY

Thanks for your reply.
As we weren't able to replicate the situation on our end, could we ask you to send us a short video of the issue. This will be very helpful for us to investigate this deeper. You can send a link to it or attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor. Also please mention the current Spotify app versions that you have on your devices.

The version on the Samsung Tv Spotify app is 2.1.0 last update May 26 2021. Link to video below. Note this Samsung Tv is supposed to show content preview for the Spotify app as its listed as one of the apps with this feature under the Samsung Content Preview library

Thank you for your reply and info.
We understand that the Samsung Smart Tv has a feature developed by Samsung, regarding content preview of the apps installed. We believe this behavior is to be expected, as the Spotify app currently does not provide any form of content previewing (for any Tv model for that matter) before actually starting up the app.

Your statement is unfortunately false and I have another Samsung tv same model just 50 inch not 55 and it shows Spotify content preview. Also Samsung has a section showing which apps qualify for Content Preview and Spotify is indeed one of them. Also .. even when the app is running content preview does not work. On my 50 inch it shows content preview wither the app is running or not. Looks like this problem cannot be solved by Spotify or Samsung. This is unfortunate 😕
