Christmas playlist on startup?

My Question or Issue

(Almost) every time I load Spotify with Hands Free Link (I really only listen to Spotify when I'm driving) it starts me on a playlist of suggested Christmas songs. This issue started Christmas Day. When looking for a solution I saw another post about a Christmas song playing after each song from their own playlist. This is not the same issue. If I switch to my previous playlist, everything is back to normal except the second song always resumes the last song that was playing during my previous session on the app.

My phone has a built in (app? setting?) called DuraSpeed that stops apps from working in the background when they're closed unless given permission. So I often have to open Spotify on my phone in order to connect it to the car; not sure if it's related. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? Is this the "Autoplay similar content" option in Settings?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

Does this happen all the time? Or only when you're listening to Spotify in your car? We recommend checking if it happens on other devices and the Web Player. If it's only on your mobile device, we'd suggest reinstalling the Spotify app. No worries, you won't lose any content, but you might need to download your offline music again. If that doesn't help, try turning the Autoplay off and on again.
