Delete Local Files

Delete Local Files

So I have couple songs on my computer that are screwed up. They cut randomnly and are incoherent. Yes I know I should delete them, but that is besides the point. They are uploaded to spotify in my Local Files. Is there any way to delete these files so I can listen to the proper ones on spotify through streaming?

Thanks in advance.

PS. If this is in the wrong board, please let me know. I am unfamliar with the spotify community.

Hi there.

You can simple delete the Bogus local version from hard drive or go to Spotify version and make the Bogus local copy to unlink.

Hope this helps !

What do you mean by make the bogus local copy to unlink. How do I go about doing that?

When you find bad track coming from local, you simple right click it and click "Unlink". This will remove the link between local and streaming version - so in future Spotify will use only streaming version.

You can know when track is local, not streamed, when there is local file icon in your playlist/release.
