[Desktop][Music] Recently Played Disappearance

Does anyone know why my recently played artists have totally disappeared? YES, I've tried logging in and out multiple times to no effect.

Did you delete your Spotify cache in your phone settings? Or data erase would cause this

It was happening on my desktop. I had to contact Spotify in the end, and they did something that (temporarily) fixed it.
