I have a premium duo account, my downloaded songs no more appear as downloaded after a day's time and I have to download again and waste data. I listen daily and this is a lot of wastage of data even though I've paid for premium.

Thanks for reaching out. What device does this happen on exactly? If the songs are repeatedly removed, it sounds like you have some sort of cache clearing app that damages the saved data and causes the issue. Check for any cache clearing, cache optimization, battery optimization or similar apps on your device and either remove them or at least add Spotify as an exception. Consider performing a clean reinstall too as that will properly clear out any corrupted data you have left over that may be causing problems.
