Error 2 when palying any tune on Samsung Smart TV

Hi

I just installed the Spotify App on our Samsung Smart TV bought a couple of months ago - I got a 48 hour test period but as soon as I try to play a tune I receive the error message "Error 2" which does not tell me anything.

Does anybody know what the reason is and what to do to play music on the TV?

Using my PC Spotify works fine so I doubt I have a firewall issue.

I have the same problem and i'm a premium user.  I can see my playlist but o can not play them... Error ID 2 ?¿??¿¿

Same problem for me on a brand new TV with latest firmware (1031). Hope we get some help here... ?

Same here: Error ID 2 when playing any tune.

 

Worked perfectly for 8 months and at latest June 28 2013.

 

My TV is UE55ES6805 with firmware version supposed to be the latest: T-MST10PDEUC-1028.2, BT - G

 

Spotify version: 1.01511 (date: 2013/07/19)

 

Anybody in spotify know about this? By google search it seems like a fairly common problem.

problem, need help! Brand new Samsung Smart-tv 8 series

I had this pop up from time to time. I think that it may be a connection error and I finally got rid of it by deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Error 3 on Samsung Smart TV ???!!

What worked for me was to uninstall the spotify app completely and reinstall. after that works like charm. I have a Samsung UE48H6600. 

I also have this problem.

 

Samsung Series 7 TV

UA55Es7500

Software Version: T-ECPUABC-1018.0

 

Tells me software update is unavailable so I assume its the latest version.

 

I've reinstalled Spotify 3 times.
