Escaped character in song title

I came across a song which has an entity-encoded character in its title:

Song: Leb' deine Träume

The apostroph in the song title is entity-encoded which results in the title being "Leb' deine Träume".

The title is wrong on both Windows desktop and iOS app, so it might not be an error with displaying the character correctly. I would guess that the title actually contains the escape sequence ' instead of the nice apostroph 😉

Absolutely, @superhuso!  Did you like that song with the entity-encoded character in its title?

(I am laughing, of course, ok?)

You and I both find that about 2% of the tracks in Spotify have various misspellings in the TrackName title.  There are about four variations for the apostrophe, including both ' and ` as well as the escape sequences substituted for the nice character itself.

It would be nice if there were some way for you and me to just correct the misspellings that we find-- but I haven't discovered any hidden means to correct the Track titles.

Does anyone know how we users could correct the misspellings in the TrackNames?

Please tell us all if you discover something, will you?

If you get Spotify to correct even one typo in the Song database, please send me the exact wording of what you enter on that >> contact form. <<   Perhaps, the exact coding that you put into that >> contact form << triggers whether or not you can get Spotify to correct typos.  (wink, wink)

And probably Spotify expects the song agents to correct the typos in the Song database.

The reason I respond here is that I don't want anyone to get discouraged with never getting Spotify to correct even one typo in the Song database.

If you want to get a good sample of the overwhelming number of typos there are in the Luxuslärm database just do a Ctrl-L Search on  deine Traume Leb  -- then click "Show All Results".  You will see that the &#39 typo appears in both Song and Album columns-- and at the bottom of that Search, you will see four records for which  Leb'  is spelled correctly in the Song database-- probably from different "agents" of the artists involved-- maybe using different keyboards with different implementations of the >> international Unicode standards. <<

Please tell me if you get Spotify to correct even one typo in the Song database-- and please don't be disappointed with what happens when you use the very promising >> contact form. <<
