Existing artist account featured in my publisher's release

Hello,

hope you can help me with this issue since i'm pretty new to Spotify for Artists.

I would like to self-publish a song with Distrokid but it detects an already existing artist with name.

I already work with a publisher and my existing name is featured in a release where i have contributed with a song.

My question is: on distrokid should i choose "no existing artist for this name" and create a new one or can i claim that one featured in my label release?

If the already existing profile is yours, you might want to claim it instead of creating a new one. For further info and help on this, we'd suggest reaching out directly to your distributor. i was making a spotify artist account and suddenly that URI thing showed up even though i don't work with anybody but i had to click a name that i don't know so can i make my own URI
