Existing artist account featured in my publisher's release

Existing artist account featured in my publisher's release

Hello,

hope you can help me with this issue since i'm pretty new to Spotify for Artists.

I would like to self-publish a song with Distrokid but it detects an already existing artist with name.

I already work with a publisher and my existing name is featured in a release where i have contributed with a song.

My question is: on distrokid should i choose "no existing artist for this name" and create a new one or can i claim that one featured in my label release?

Thank you so

much!

Hey there @manuelfederici,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

If the already existing profile is yours, you might want to claim it instead of creating a new one. For further info and help on this, we'd suggest reaching out directly to your distributor. You can also reach out to the support team at Spotify for Artists in the Contact us link at the bottom of this page.

If anything else comes up, the Community will be here.

Cheers!
