Find Where a Track is in Playlist

I read a hack for finding a track in a playlist on the mobile app in another thread here that I cant find now. Trying to figure out a way to see exactly where a track is in a playlist. Yes, I can do a 'find in playlist', but that doesnt tell me where in the playlist the track is. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hey @Woopit!

With the mobile app, you can jump to the currently playing song's position in the playlist by tapping on the playlist's name at the top of the Now Playing View:

As for the desktop app / Web Player, you can click the currently playing's song's album artwork either in the bottom left corner or in the Now Playing View.

Hi Yordan - - 

Thank you for this response. Took me awhile to fully understand what to do. Now, I have another question.  So, I find the song in the playlist, but if I go to edit playlist to move the song into another position in the playlist, as far as I can tell I have to scroll thru the whole playlist to find where that song is bc there are no numbers on the songs in the playlist on the mobile app. Is there a solution for that?

I'm afraid so, yeah. At the moment, there's no way to tell a song's # position in the playlist while editing it via the mobile app, but if this is something you'd love to see, you can post an idea about it on our Idea Exchange board. Others can then share their feedback and show their support by giving your idea a thumbs up. When an idea reaches the necessary amount of votes it is sent to our internal teams for review and consideration.
