Following count stuck at a certain number?

My Question or Issue

Recently i've noticed my Following is stuck at 239. No matter how many artists or on which device i follow/ unfollow, it stays the same.

Here's what i did so far to try and fix it:

- logging in and out

- deinstalling spotify (even did a clear deinstall on my macbook)

- restarting all of my devices

but the issue is still there.

The following function itself doesn't seem to be broken, because the artists get added to my library, the number is simply not updating anymore.

Would love some advice on this issue.

Actually, i think the problem is fixed for now (?), the count just takes some time to update for me (noticed it twice after waking up and seeing the count has updated contrary to the evening prior). 

I would've deleted the post because i think it's fixed for now, but if i'm being honest i haven't quite figured out to delete a post (lol) since it's my first time being active on the spotify community posts.
