Go back a page function?

I use the web player:

I had an old Spotify account I created via my FB 3 years ago, I have since deleted that account and created a new Spotify web player account. The new account's UI is noticeably different from the old version. In particular, on the old player, I could easily go back a tab by clicking on the background. New music pages were kept in the foreground, while the last one you were at is visible to the side in the background. All I had to do was click the background page and I would return to where I was at. Does the new web player still have this? I'm also curious as to why my old FB account had kept the old UI, I thought the web player updates itself over the web?
