Hiding Played Podcast Episodes

I use Spotify to manage my podcasts but it's so cumbersome. I see there is a filter to filter out played podcast episodes, but I need to select that filter everytime I go into a podcast.

I have not been able to find how to save that sitting either the app or in individual podcasts.

This should be a basic feature but I can't find it. Can someone please help? Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The option to sort by unplayed episodes within a podcast is a filter implemented in the app based on this idea. Since this is still a "filter", it's not possible to be set as default yet.

In this case, if you think other users would like this feature as well, we'd recommend posting it in our Idea Exchange board so it can be open for voting and eventually reach the relevant teams. We'd also suggest checking our guidelines to avoid any rejection.
