Hiding tracks in Release Radar can't be undone and marked as 'not available'

Hiding tracks in Release Radar can't be undone and marked as 'not available'

When hovering over a track in the release radar an ambiguous 'Hide' icon button is shown, I just clicked it by accident. I can't undo this and the content is marked as 'unavailable' when clicked, and therefor unplayable, this is buggy and straight up confusing ux.

Hey there @ArchiveSelector,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

We couldn’t replicate the behavior you kindly mentioned. In that sense, we recommend you perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the stored cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can see the steps for a clean reinstall here.

If the above doesn’t do the trick, we’d like to gather some additional info, to better understand this behavior. Please send us:

  • The exact Spotify version you’re running on your device.
  • The make/model and OS of the affected device.
  • Does this happen when hiding any other songs on the playlist?
  • Does this happen on a different playlist, such as Discover Weekly?

We’ll be on the lookout!
