How can I stop getting podcast ads on Android Auto?

I have Spotify Premium and get no ads while listening to a podcast on my phone or pc. However, when I listen to the same podcast using Android Auto in my car I do get ads between podcast episodes. These ads are not even in my language (I'm Dutch and the ads are in German). This is really annoying, is there anything I can do to stop this?

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community!

First, make sure that you're logged in to the same account on Android Auto (as on your phone and PC) as it's possible that it's a different one in your car by mistake. I recommend logging out > back in with the correct credentials.

Something to keep in mind, however is that even with a Premium subscription, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.
